Sexuelle Störungen haben viele verschiedene Gesichter und Ursachen. Aus Sicht der tibetanischen Medizin steht der Mensch mit einer sexuellen Störung in einem „Flammenmeer“. Diese Glut erzeugt die Erde. Im Becken, wo auch der PC-Muskel (siehe Blasenschwäche) eine wichtige Rolle spielt, liegt auch das Tor zur Integration des Menschen. Die Kundalini des Menschen bleibt unten stecken und die Lebenskraft schwindet. Das Feuer kann nicht abfließen und der Körper des Menschen schüttet Schleim (Humoralsaft) aus, um das Feuer zu löschen. Durch den Schleim im Körper geschieht Verstopfung auf allen Ebenen, was letztlich zu Bluthochdruck führt. Widerwille und Hass gegen sexuelle Aktivitäten schüren das Feuer. Dies führt schließlich zur Verblendung des Menschen. Er bildet so eine egozentrische Sichtweise aus und ist nicht bereit sich auf den Zustand des „ICH zergehe“ oder „ICH gebe mich auf“ einzulassen, weil er es nicht erleben will. Ein Bild dazu wäre der Sonnenstrahl, der auf Schnee trifft und der Schnee schmilzt dahin.
Das Flammenmeer schmilzt das Eis, die Gefühlsstarre des Menschen. Das Flammenmeer löst auch das Metall aus dem Gestein. Das Element Metall ist dem Organ Lunge zugeordnet, die für den Austausch zum Thema Sexualität auf allen Ebenen verantwortlich ist und so auch die Emotionen des Geschwistermeridians des Dickdarms Schuld und Scham lösen kann, damit der Mensch sie loslassen kann.

Sexual disorders
Sexual disorders have many different faces and causes. In Tibetan medicine, a person with a sexual disorder is standing in a „sea of flames“ and this ember creates the earth. The sea of flames melts the ice, the stiffness of human feelings. The sea of flames also loosens the metal from the rock. The element metal is assigned to the lung, which is responsible for the exchange on the subject of sexuality on all levels and can therefore also release the emotions of the sibling meridian of the colon, guilt and shame, so that man can let go of them.
